On May 25, China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group erected the last of 343 box girders for a Bandung-bound section of Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway a week ahead of schedule. It marked that the erecting task of all box girders for the section had been completed.

　　The No. 4 casting yard of China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group is tasked with prefabricating and erecting 1,007 box girders for the DK85+043～DK139+726 section of Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway. The casting yard is now working on the section to Jakarta to have all girders erected along the whole line as early as possible, so as to provide strong support to the opening of the railway route next year.

　　Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway is a flagship project of pragmatic cooperation between China and Indonesia under the Belt and Road Initiative. Connecting the country’s capital city of Jakarta to its fourth largest city of Bandung, the railway has a total length of 142 kilometers and a maximum design speed of 350 km/h. It is also the first railway whose entire system, elements and industrial chains involved are provided by Chinese firms outside China. The equipment used to erect box girders for the Bandung section was 900-ton erection machine independently developed by China Railway Science & Industry Group Co., Ltd.
