The group standard of the Corporate ESG Disclosure Guide jointly compiled by China Enterprise Reform and Development Society, the Foreign Economic Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Three Transformations Research Institute of CREC was recently released in Beijing.

The group standard features a three-level indicator system for disclosure of scientific and measurable corporate information, with focus on three major themes: Environmental, Social and Governance. It also introduces a set of sub-indicators such as resource consumption, climate change and employee rights and interests, and offers specific indicators for measuring corporate ESG performance. A scientific, complete and balanced system, the Corporate ESG Disclosure Guide group standard provides guidelines for the disclosure and evaluation of corporate ESG information, filling the domestic gap in the field of corporate ESG disclosure standard. It will be officially implemented on June 1 this year.
