The National Ski Jumping Center built by China Railway Construction Engineering Group won 2022-2023 China Construction Engineering Luban Prize (National Prime-quality Project) on May 23.

　　The ski jumping center, one of the venues for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games, is dubbed “Snow Ruyi” for its S-shaped curve resembling traditional Chinese ornament of jade ruyi scepter. With a total construction area of 55,970 square meters, the venue broke ground on May 25, 2018 and was finished on August 31, 2021. It is the largest and most technically difficult venue in the Zhangjiakou competition zone for the Beijing 2022. It is also the world’s first ski jumping venue featuring a super long frame structure totally built with reinforced concrete and the world’s first ski jumping center that passed the accreditation of international organizations for special events at one shot. Of the venues for the Beijing 2022, “Snow Ruyi” was hailed as an exemplary green, low-carbon and sustainable venue.
