The Fenghuang maglev sightseeing express line recently passed completion acceptance, marking that China’s first magnetic levitation cultural tourism project is completed. The rail project is designed by China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group and constructed by First Engineering Bureau of China Railway Group, China Railway No.5 Engineering Group and China Railway Hi-tech Industry Group.

　　The Fenghuang maglev sightseeing express line connects the Fenghuang High-speed Rail Station and the Fenghuang Ancient Town in Hunan Province. With a designed speed of 100 kilometers per hour, the line is 9,121 meters long and passes six railway stations (two stations reserved).

　　Harnessing maglev trains’ advantages of causing less noise, consuming less energy and producing no pollution, the line is beneficial for environmental protection of local scenic areas. In addition, it will help enhance connections between the scenic areas in Fenghuang County, which is significant to building the county’s tourist axis, ecological corridor and cultural hallway.
