The State Intellectual Property Office of China recently announced recipients of the nation’s top awards for patents among which the “welding method of Q345qDNH weathering steel for bridges”(ZL201210367974.4) invented by China Railway Shanhaiguan Bridge Group Co., Ltd. won a Gold Award of China Patent Award, the“shield machine with cast-in-place support for large-horseshoe cross-section tunnels”(ZL201510453835.7) developed by China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Co., Ltd. won a silver award, and seven patents of China Railway Erju Group, China Railway No.3 Engineering Group, CREC Shanghai Civil Engineering Co., Ltd., China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group, China Railway Major Bridge Reconnaissance Design Institute Co., Ltd., and China Railway Hi-tech Industry Corporation Limited won Excellence Awards. This is the second time that CREC has won the China Patent Gold Award, following its first recognition in 2020.
