Short Film by CREC Wuhan Subsidiary Wins Best Picture Award in 2021 Asia Micro Film Competition

Anthem of CREC—“Trailbreaker”
A short film produced by CREC’s Wuhan electrification subsidiary on the construction of the China-Laos Railway recently won the best picture award in the 2021 Asia Micro Film Competition. The short film was shot in honor of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China as well as the upcoming completion of the China-Laos Railway.
The film tells a story of a Chinese engineer Lei Xiaotian working in Laos for the construction of the China-Laos Railway. Experiencing an unprecedented pandemic, the retirement of his mentor, and the leaving of his best friend, Lei finally finished the electrification task together with his coworkers, presenting a grand international railway to the world.
