China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group Co., Ltd. recently handed over an urban water supply project in Bie Province, Angola, after finishing the project and running it for three years. 

　　Targeting three cities in Bie Province, the LCC water supply project was started on August 18, 2016, and officially put into operation on June 14, 2019. A project for people’s livelihood the Angolan government built with funding and loans from China, it has effectively improved local capacities for water supply, addressing water shortage and safety problems for around 70,000 local residents. The project can help improve local people’s life quality and city image, and boost economic and social development in the province.

　　Phase I of NCC Sewage Treatment Plant in Angola 

　　Since 2012, China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group has built 14 projects in Angola including a public housing project, phase I of NCC water works, technology support project for Luanda General Hospital, a water plant, and a sewage treatment plant and housing project in Cunene Province. When building these projects, the company also helped local government renovate office buildings and restore the road from Cuemba to Moxico free of charge. It also employed more than 1,000 local people and trained more than 500 technicians who are skilled at steel works, machine operation, measuring, operation and maintenance. While boosting local employment, the company contributed CREC forces to economic and social development and improvement of people’s livelihood in Angola.
