Anthem of CREC—“Trailbreaker”
The Cacuaco Highway, built by China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd (CREC4), opened to traffic on July 5. The opening ceremony was held in Mulundo, the starting point of the highway, in Luanda Province, Angola. Ana Paulo, governor of Luanda, attended the opening ceremony with around 20 participants from the provincial government and the government of Cacuaco Municipality.

Ana Paulo highly appraised the quality of the CREC4’s construction. She noted that the highway is a major project benefiting local people, and expressed appreciation to the hard work and contribution of the constructors from the company.
Connecting the Mulundo downtown and Sequele, the highway is a link crossing primary schools, hospitals, factories, urban areas, shopping malls and the Castro Street. The highway is expected to greatly facilitate the traffic between Mulundo and Sequele and boost local economic development.
