American Engineering News-Record (ENR), a weekly trade magazine for the construction industry, recently released its annual lists of the Top 250 Global Contractors and the Top 250 International Contractors.

The CREC retained the second spot of ENR's 2021 Top 250 Global Contractors list, which was made based on the total revenue of the companies' domestic and international operations. A total of eight Chinese companies made the top 10 spots of the list. The CREC ranked 13th on the list of the ERN's 2021 Top 250 International Contractors, which was based on contracting revenue from projects outside companies' home countries.

The U.S.-based ENR is a leading international academic journal in the construction industry. Its annual lists of Top 250 Global Contractors and Top 250 International Contractors are regarded as the “bible” of the construction industry and reflect the market situation for international contractors.
