The first heavy-grade box girder along the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway in Indonesia was finished on April 28. China Railway No.4 Engineering Group is part of the construction team.

The box girder is located near the Bandung end. The erection gradient was 2.97 percent, and the altitude difference between the front and back fulcrums reaches 97 centimeters, complicating the construction and making it very risky.

The total length of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway is 142.3 kilometers. When opening to traffic, the railway service will shorten travel time from Jakarta to Bandung from more than three hours to around 40 minutes.(By Li Jinpeng)
