In 2020, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge was awarded the Outstanding Structure Award (OStrA) by the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE).

　　Extending 55 kilometers over the waters of Lingdingyang, the bridge connects Hong Kong in the east and Zhuhai and Macao in the west as an ultra-large cross-sea traffic project jointly built by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. It is now the world’s longest cross-sea bridge. MBEC and China Railway Major Bridge Reconnaissance & Design Institute Co., Ltd., as well as China Railway Shanhaiguan Bridge Group Co., Ltd. and China Railway Baoji Bridge Group Co., Ltd. under CRHIC, participated in the construction of the bridge.
