On October 13, Indonesian President Joko inspected the construction site of the Decarul Station of the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway, which was built by CREC, to learn about the progress of the construction of the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway. Lu Kang, the Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia, several Indonesian government ministers, Chinese and Indonesian directors of the Sino-Indonesian high-speed railway Joint Venture (KCIC), and some on-site leaders of Chinese and Indonesian participating enterprises accompanied the inspection.

It is reported that 80% of the projects such as the station building of Dekarur Station have been completed and have entered the stage of decoration. At the same time, the station platform and catenary have also started the implementation.

The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway connects Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, and Bandung, the capital of West Java, with a total length of 142 kilometers and a maximum design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is a landmark project of practical cooperation between China and Indonesia. At present, the 13 tunnels of the project are all through, and the main line has begun to lay tracks. After opening to traffic, the travel time between Jakarta and Bandung will be shortened from more than three hours to 40 minutes.
