Anthem of CREC—“Trailbreaker”
On January 12, 2022, the 19th China Civil Engineering Zhan Tianyou Award was announced, and a total of 42 outstanding representative projects nationwide were awarded. Fifteen projects constructed by China Railway Group Limited (CREC), including the Yellow River Combined Highway and Railway Bridge on the Shijiazhuang-Jinan Passenger Dedicated Line (PDL) and the West Qinling Tunnel on the Lanzhou-Chongqing Railway, won the award, accounting for over one third of the total number of award-winning projects.
China Civil Engineering Zhan Tianyou Award is the highest scientific and technological innovation award in China's civil engineering industry, and is known as the Oscar Award in China’s construction industry. So far, a total of 167 representative and high-technology CREC projects have won the award.
