On November 28, the CREC Guiyang Yunwan project developed by China Railway Real Estate Development Group won the silver award of the residence category at the 6th REARD Global Design Award competition. This is the second time that the CREC Guiyang Yunwan project wins the RWARD award after it won the excellence award at the 5th REARD Global Design Award competition last year.

　　The REARD Global Design Award is set by the REARDatChina.com, with aims to promote continuous innovation in the design of real estate. As China’s first award in connection with the Pritzker Architecture Prize with its great influence, it is considered China’s first international award to honor real estate design. Apart from the two traditional award classifications of business and residence, three new categories of urban renovation, cultural tourism and industries were added to the list. This year, 1,561 projects from 464 organizations participated in the REARD competition.

　　Designers of the CREC Guiyang Yunwan project aim to build it into an ideal place for lifestyles at bay areas, and stress scenic attraction. Taking advantages of mountain area, the designers create various spaces for different living purposes to present community lifestyles. The complex is built between two parks and is surrounded by mountains and waters, making it a green and eco-friendly community for residents.
