Unit 1 of Sichuan Railway Company's Power Plant Project in Iraq Put into Operation

Anthem of CREC—“Trailbreaker”
On May 17, the unit 1 of the 2×630MW oil-fired gas power station in Salah-Aldeen, Iraq, was successfully put into operation. This laid a solid foundation for the commercial running of the power station, whose construction is contributed by Sichuan Railway Company.
Lying approximately 186 kilometers north of Baghdad, the project is the largest power station with the largest power generation capacity under construction. The successful commissioning of the unit 1 will substantially ease local shortage of power supply.(By Xie Mengmeng)
