Developed by China Railway Shanhaiguan Bridge Group, a subsidiary of China Railway Hi-Tech Industry Co., Ltd., five sets of turnouts dedicated to the passenger line of the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway with a designed speed of 350 km/h started shipment on May 19, marking the export of the first Chinese-manufactured turnout system for high-speed rail. On May 21, the Chinese-standard overhead contact-line system manufactured by China Railway High-speed Railway Electrification Equipment Corporation Limited, a subsidiary of China Railway Electrification Engineering Group, departed the Port of Shanghai for Indonesia. The overhead line equipment will be used in the construction of Tegal Luar Electric Multiple Units Depot, an important part of the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway project.

A joint project between China and Indonesia, the 142-kilometer-long high-speed railway will cut the journey between Indonesian capital Jakarta and Bandung, the fourth largest city of the country, from more than three hours to around 40 minutes.
