The main structure of Luang Prabang station along China-Laos railway was completed on December 3. The Gansu branch of China Railway Academy Co., Ltd., under CREC, participated in the construction of the station.

Luang Prabang station is located in Luang Prabang, an ancient city and Buddhist center in Laos. The design highlights the feature of the city. The station has a construction area of around 8,000 square meters. Requiring high precision in installation, the station is the most distinctive and sophisticated project along the railway line.
