On August 13 local time, President of CREC Mr. Zhang Zongyan and his delegation paid an official visit to Brazilian President Michel Temer at the Presidential Palace in Brasilia, Capital of Brazil.

Mr. Zhang gave a brief introduction of CREC and its business in Brazil to President Michel Temer, wishing to cooperate with Brazilian local enterprises in a more diverse way to achieve win-win situation in the near future. In return, President Michelle Temer introduced the FIOL Section of Pacific and Atlantic Railway Project in detail. He pointed out that the FIOL Section is a key railway project promoted by Brazilian Government, and the Government of Brazil encourages and welcomes foreign investment, especially the investment from Chinese enterprises. He believes that the construction of this railway section will bring more jobs to the locals and improve their personal incomes.

The heads of International Business Division and four subsidiaries of CREC - China Railway First Engineering Group, China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group, China Railway No.10 Engineering Group Co., Ltd and China Railway Eryuan Engineering Co. Ltd. - also attended the meeting.
