Anthem of CREC—“Trailbreaker”
Wuhan Parrot Island Bridge is located at the downtown area of Wuhan. It is approximately 2.0 kilometers away from the downstream Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge and approximately 3.2 kilometers away from the upstream Yangsi Port Yangtze River Bridge. It is connected to the Parrot Avenue in Hanyang District in the north, Fuxing Road in Wuchang District in the south. This bridge and the Second Yangtze River Bridge constitute a new First Ring Line in Wuhan. Its main bridge is 3.42 kilometers long, with eight lanes in two ways and a main span of 850 meters. It is the world's largest three-tower and four-span suspension bridge. The total investment of the project is approximately 5 billion CNY (0.72 billion USD). It started construction in May 2011 and was completed and opened to traffic on December 28, 2014.
