Anthem of CREC—“Trailbreaker”
This bridge locates in Chittagong in the southeast of Bangladesh, it is the first cable-stayed road bridge in Bangladesh. It has a total length of 950m and the main bridge is a four-pylon extradosed bridge of pre-stressed continuous concrete girder with a main span of 200m carrying six carriageways in dual directions. The bridge deck is 25m wide. The bridge was commenced in July 2006 and completed in April 2011. MBEC designed and constructed the bridge.
