Anthem of CREC—“Trailbreaker”
Shenzhen Metro Line 5 starts from Qianhaiwan in the west and ends in Huangbeiling in the east. It crosses Baoan, Nanshan, Longgang and Luohu districts with a total length of 40 km. It has 27 stations and 9 interchange stations with 14 rail transit and railway lines, including 3 interchange hubs with a total investment of about 20.06 billion Yuan, which is the longest subway project in terms of domestic urban rail transit. This huge project only took three and a half years, which started construction on December 21, 2007, and opened for trial operation on June 22, 2011.
