Maanshan Second Wastewater Treatment Plant is located at the middle section of Tianmen Avenue in Maanshan City. It covers an area of 10.34 hectares and has a service area of 15.7 square kilometers. The designed scale is 100,000 m3/d. The sewage treatment uses oxidation ditch process. The project was signed on May 18, 2008 and officially commercialized on July 1, 2008. The effluent water quality is better than the national first-level standard B, and most of the indicators meet the first-level standard A.
