Anthem of CREC—“Trailbreaker”
It is the longest rail-cum-road bridge in the world and the 2nd longest in Wuhan province after Wuhan Yangtze River bridge. The bridge begins from Safe Pu of Hankou and ends at the Wuqing main artery. It is the sixth Yangtze river bridge, the second rail-cum-road bridge and the major project of the third ring line in Wuhan. In 2014, it was awarded first prize of National Award for Science and Technology Progress for “the construction technology of three-plane three-main-truss rail-cum-road cable-stayed bridge”, which is the only bridge project awarded such prize in the past three years.
