Mr. Xiu Long, a senior engineer, research fellow, and expert entitled to State Council Special Allowance, is Independent Non-executive Director of CREC, Outside Director of China Green Development Investment (Group) Co., Ltd. (CGDG), and Chairman of the Architectural Society of China. He began to work in 1984. From January 2007 to December 2017, he served as President of China Architecture Design & Research Group. In 2014, he also served as Chairman of China Construction Technology Consulting Co., Ltd. (CCTC). From January 2018 to July 2020, he served as Chairman of China Construction Technology Co., Ltd. and CCTC. Since 2016, he has served as Chairman of the Architectural Society of China. He has been Outside Director of CGDG since November 2020 and Independent Non-executive Director of CREC since March 2021. Mr. Xiu majored in industrial and civil architecture at the School of Engineering of Harbin Institute of Architectural Engineering, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and then obtained a master’s degree in structural engineering.
