From October 25 to 26, Chen Wenjian, President of China Railway Group Limited (CREC), visited the Baode County of Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, to inspect poverty alleviation work directed to designated targets. He also attended the signing and groundbreaking ceremony of the assistance project launched by CREC.

　　On the afternoon of October 25, Chen Wenjian held talks with local government officials and conducted in-depth exchanges on consolidating poverty alleviation achievements and promoting rural revitalization.

　　At the signing ceremony of key construction assistance projects, representatives of the participating parties signed four agreements with CREC, including agreement on CREC’s fund donation for poverty alleviation, agreement on paired-up assistance between CREC and Baode County, agreement on building the 1# dormitory building for the No.11 Primary School of Baode County and agreement on cooperation in running vocational schools.

　　On the morning of October 26, Chen Wenjian attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the CREC-aided 1# dormitory building of the No.11 Primary School of Baode County. Chen laid the first shovel of dirt with other guests to lay the foundation of the building.
