CREC President CHEN Yun met with Sheikh Ahmad, Minister of Railways of Pakistan on Oct. 10^th, 2019. They exchanged views and reached consensus on the infrastructure cooperation projects in Pakistan.

　　Both sides appreciated the recent meeting between President XI and Prime Minister Imran in Beijing for its positive role in boosting the development of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and the related railway projects.

　　CHEN said, “Pakistan is a significant market with great potential for CREC. We will always be a sincere partner of Pakistan by fully displaying our expertise and advantages, so as to provide better services in terms of railway construction and other infrastructure projects.”

　　Ahmad spoke highly of the progress made in the ML 1 Project and the previous work done by CREC. He said, “The present railway system of Pakistan could not fulfill the people’s increasing need for travel.” He welcomes CREC to invest and build railway in Pakistan with various models.
