A joint venture built at one go, the Shuozhou-Huanghua Railway is a double-track electrified rail line with the largest scale of investment and construction in China. It has great strategic significance as the railway is the country’s second largest corridor for coal transportation from west to east. The project received China Civil Engineering Zhan Tianyou Award in 2008.
