An important part of the “eight vertical and eight horizontal” HSR network in China, the Zhengzhou-Xi’an rail line connects the provincial capitals of Henan and Shaanxi. It is one of China’s first three passenger lines with an operation speed of 350 kilometers per hour and also the country’s first HSR to use ballastless turnouts on bridge structures. The project won the National Silver Award for Quality Engineering for 2020-2021.
