Located at the southern end of Salar de Uyuni in Daniel Campos Province, Bolivia, the plant is a leading strategic project investment by the government of Bolivia and also one of the world’s few such facilities at high altitudes. The project received the China Construction Engineering Luban Prize (overseas) for 2018-2019, making it the first CREC overseas chemical project to win the award. The plant was also granted the Overseas Quality Project Award in chemical industry.
