Shield machine is a type of special engineering equipment for tunnel boring. Supported by the CREC industrial data pool, the demonstration factory built a smart information platform for centralized management of the full life cycle of shield machines from R&D and design to production, supply, marketing, and after-sales service.

　　Featuring “smart system, smart equipment, and smart decision-making,” the factory is equipped with digitized workshops and an intelligent production management system that facilitates information transparency and enables early warning and trend prediction, which helps spur innovation in smart manufacturing.
