On March 18, the main span of the Luzhou Tuojiang River Bridge of the Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway, the first double-column V-shaped tower railway bridge in China constructed by the Second Company of the China TIESIJU Civil Engineering Group, was successfully closed. Luzhou Tuojiang River Bridge, with a total length of 2613.3 meters, a leading bridge tower height of 115.7 meters, and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, is the first cable-stayed bridge with double-column V-shaped bridge tower and space fan-shaped cable plane for the high-speed railway in China. The main girder adopts (124 + 240 + 124) m cable stiffened continuous rigid frame across the Tuojiang River. It is the largest span prestressed concrete, wooden frame straight beam bridge on the Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway line.
